What are the types of Fishing Charters?
Kite Fishing: When the wind is favorable, we fly kites and fish up to 3 baits per kite. This can bring some exciting bites. On light wind days we use helium balloons to assist the kite.
Slow Trolling: When winds are light, trolling with one motor, we troll flat lines and down riggers to cover the water column.
Drift fishing/Bottom fishing: This is usually during the spring months, we may fly kites off one side with flat lines and down baits on the other
What kind of fish are common in South Florida? During your fishing charter there are a variety of fish we can catch depending on the time of year and weather conditions: kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, cobia, blackfin tuna, bonito, sailfish, snapper, grouper, amberjack, african pompano, shark.
What to expect on a charter? No fishing experience is required to have fun on your charter Friendly experienced captain who wants to catch fish. Meeting dockside at approximately 6:30-7 depending on time of year. All charters include live bait. We only offer private charters, you will not be fishing with anyone you don't know. A fishing license is provided for you.
What should I bring?
Food and flavored beverages of your choice. (bottled water is provided)
Hat
Towel
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Camera
Appropriate clothing and shoes for time of year. (recommend rain gear in the winter to protect from any spray)
Cooler to take home your catch
If you are prone to motion sickness we recommend that you take appropriate medications as necessary.
